There are many accounts of Ghost Planes from all over the world, and most seem to be the result of tragic air crashes. Longdendale Valley in Derbyshire seems to be where they are most prevalent in Britain, lindeed, there are many crash sites here and the wreckage of Second World War Bombers can still be found on the moors. When sighted, the ghost planes seem to soar silently in the sky and then disappear inexplicably from view. Some re-enact their fatal crashes complete with sound.
