Description

Fancy an evening out on a Ghost Hunt! York's history has it's own ghostly community. Take a walk through cobbled streets and narrow snicketways through York, and hear about the ghostly inhabitants from professional guides.

A society member took part in a Ghost Hunt, one night in August, with his wife and guide dog, and reports that it is an accessible attraction for blind and visually-impaired people.

However, it is suggested that you take a sighted person along with you, just to explain to you what the guide is doing, when he uses his props to enhance the tour.

The tour took about 90 minutes to complete. It is informative, enjoyable, sometimes humorous and sometimes sad.

Giving too much away might spoil your visit and enjoyment of the Ghost Walk attractions, should you decide to stroll along with the Ghost Hunter or any of the other Ghost Walks in York.
