The public house close to the pontefract race corce would be an unlikley place to hold a colliery ghost and many of people have walked passed a photograph which has a ghost on it.The photograph was taken many years ago at a West Yorkshire Colliery the ghost has an old fashioned pit helmit and a headlamp. Sadly the photo was removed when previous owners left the premmises and the identity of the ghostly miner will always remain a mystery.
