Black magic at Hall place

There is a ghost connected with black magic at Hall Place.This is the notorious Sir John Dashwood, who, in 1745, founded the Hell Fire Club located in a ruined Cistercian abbey, Medmenham, on the Thames near Marlow. Reckless young ruffians joined this club and terrorised London. Dashwood's shade appears near the tower and there have been reports of ghostly music, soft footsteps in the area of the attic and tower, loud slamming of doors and strange creaking, all thought to be connected with this haunting.
