Jenny Price, 20, of Shenley Lane, Wedley Castle, Birmingham, clamed complete satisfaction with her own ghostly gallant. Her family had known that the house had a ghost for years, but had never told Jenny about it. The first amorous approach was to the elder daughter, Lorraine, but it merely touched her shoulder.
Then, one night when Jenny was sitting up in bed she felt invisible hands round her neck. With great strength, the hands pushed her down on the bed. Frightened, she tried to scream, couldn't, and thought the ghost would strangle her, but then realized the ghost had other intentions. After that she was scared to go to bed in case the attack was repeated, and a week later, it was.
She soon realized that the ghost meant her no harm, however, and began looking forward to his visits, which began to take place as often as three times a week ... By the time three years had passed the biggest problem appears to have been how to get Jenny out of bed, she being too intent on staying there waiting for her invisible lover to show up.
Jenny's mother, Olive, wanted to get in on the act too, so she swapped beds with her daughter for three weeks. But the randy wraith didn't show up. Olive, however, doesn't think anything immoral's going on. She asked to see the vicar, and he said ghosts probably don't bother with morals. So that makes it okay. Doesn't it?
