Pontefract

At number 30 East Drive in Pontefract is the house of the prichard family where the polterguist took place in the late 1960s.

It all started with a gust of wind through the house ratling windows and slamming doors.Water started to appear on the floors but no pipes were burst and no way of knowing how it had got there.

The polterguist started playing tricks with the taps turning them on and off.Things got so bad that Reverend Davey should perform an excorsism their as he did the polterguist started to shape into a black monk.

After this things became calmer and eventually the black monk of Pontefract faded out all together.
