Our Equipment

Digital Cameras

We use a variety of equipment when ghost hunting, utilizing both standard 35mm and an up-to-date digital camera. Either type of camera are suitable for this type of work, however I prefer to use the digital camera, because its instant and no cost for photo development. In terms of cost, we find that although a digital camera is more expensive in the initial purchase, over time it will save a great deal of expense in photo processing costs. The cost of owning a digital camera has decreased dramatically over the past few years that should put the cost of ownership most peoples reach.

EVP

The recording of EVP requires the use of a recording device. Long gone are the days of tiny micro tapes and these days we rely on a digit micro tape recorder with microphone. This will happily save up to 120 minutes of data, which should be enough recording time to keep most people happy. Data capture times will only increase as new digital products come on to the market. If you’re thinking of buying, shop around. Although we welcome digital technology, we find that the analogue tape recorder is more sensitive and seems to pick up certain things that the digital recorder overlooks. A recording device, whether analogue or digital is a must for any investigation.

Thermometer

We use a digital thermometer to measure air temperature to see if the temprature goes down also known as cold spots. Whilst thermometers are available in various shapes sizes and accuracy, we prefer to use the digital type, which takes the guesswork out of job and can usually detect and report temperature fluctuations more accurately than the bog standard versions. Our thermometers are digital and can take three different readings in temperature.

Video Camera

The video cameras we use one is night vison and the other is inferred lens.Both videa camera,s use a hard drive to keep the film on.We also use with the video camera with night vison lights.

EMF Meter

We uese these meters to do baseline tests and also in investigations as they do pick up fluctuations in any apmosphere these readings are inportant.
