All PCC Registered Members work strictly to the following Code of Practice:
1.Conduct - Members recognise that their conduct has an impact on the public perception of ghost and parranormal investigation. Members will conduct themselves in a professional manner and not bring the occupation into disrepute.
2.Privacy - In accord with legal requirements, client confidentiality shall be maintained except where harm may befall the client a third party or member.
3.Research - Case studies and research must be discussed with the client beforehand at which time the likely implications should be spelt out.
4.Exploitation - Exploitation for financial or relationship gain is not acceptable. Any fees will be clearly stated in writing.
5.Service Clarity - At all times client services shall be subject to clear contracts.
6.Falsification of Evidence - Public or private statements, photographic evidence, or audio recordings shall be genuine.
7.Professional Boundaries - The relationship is of a professional and not personal nature.
8.Professional Development - A commitment to professional develoment, to further your own level of experience and training.
9.Competance - Member agrees to work within their own range of training and experience and to seek regular consultitive help from experienced members where required.
