At Norfolk there was two children in the 15th century lost both their parents and was left in their uncles care .The little boy was aged about three and the little girl was aged one years old. Under their fathers will they were to inherit their fathers estate however if they died before the age of sixteen the estate was to go to the uncle.
So the uncle decided to do away with the children and he paid for two men to take the children into the woods and cut their throats but as they went further into the forest the men couldn’t fetch themselves to do it so instead they abandoned them in the woods. Unfortunate the two children never found their way out of the woods and died of exposure and starvation.
If you go into the woods today you can here the babies crying and sobbing and it also has been reported that people have seen two little figures hand in hand through the trees.
